Some think of the body’s chakras, or energy centers, as separate from mental and emotional experiences. In physical terms, this makes sense: we can see and feel them as distinct areas of sensation within the body. Are these energy centers fixed and static? Or are they manifestations of the mind and emotions?

What are the charkas?

The chakras are energy centers in the body. They are located along the spine and are connected to specific organs and glands. The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit word “wheel.” Each chakra corresponds with a color and element.

The chakras also correspond with different states of consciousness, emotions, senses, and mental disorders.

As you move through life, your life experiences can impact your chakras and their functioning. One way this happens is through your thoughts and emotions—they can influence what colors you see around you (the color of your aura), for example.

When one or more of your charkas isn’t working right, it can cause you to feel out of balance in terms of your emotions and physical sensations. For example, if your root chakra (the one at the base of your spine) is underactive, you might feel like you lack motivation or drive to be active physically or mentally—even if you want to be!

To ensure that your chakras are working correctly, it’s essential to identify which ones need attention first and then focus on how to restore balance in each one individually.

How do they affect your health?

The mind and emotions affect the function of charkas by creating blockages in energy flow, disrupting the body’s ability to regulate its health.

The chakras are energy centers within the human body, corresponding to various parts of our physical makeup. For example, the heart chakra is located in the middle of the chest, where a person’s heart would be. The chakras are part of our energetic system; they’re like open channels through which energy can flow freely from one part of the body to another.

When we experience negative emotions such as fear or anger, these emotions create blockages in our chakras due to their vibration—the lower-frequency vibrations of fear or anger slow down our chakra’s ability to absorb and release energy at an efficient rate. This slows our body’s ability to heal and maintain its overall health.

What is the relationship between the mind, emotions, and illness

The mind and emotions directly affect the function of the chakras. The mind and emotions are believed to be the leading cause of disease.

When we think negatively about ourselves, others, or our circumstances, we create negative energy within ourselves. This negative energy can block the flow of positive life force to our bodies and minds. This can lead to physical and mental illness or emotional distress.

To be healthy, balanced, and happy, we must maintain balance within our chakras. This means we must let go of any negative thoughts plaguing us so that they don’t get stuck in our chakras, draining away positive energy from them. It also means we need to fill them with plenty of positive thoughts so they can continue working at their optimum level!

If you are sad or angry, your body will try to conserve energy because it feels like it is attacked or endangered in some way.

When we feel threatened, our bodies go into survival mode, which means that certain functions shut down and others are put into overdrive so we can deal with whatever is threatening us (i.e., run away from danger or fight back).

The problem with this response is that sometimes it doesn’t make sense anymore because the threat isn’t there anymore – but our bodies still act as if they were!

What happens to the charkas when we repress negative emotions?

The charkas are a part of the vital human energy system. They are centers of energy in the body, and when they’re functioning optimally, we feel vibrant and energized. But sometimes, these charkas can get blocked or damaged by stress or negative emotions.

When we repress negative feelings, it’s like putting a lid on a boiling pot: the heat builds up inside until it eventually finds an outlet. In this case, that outlet is usually physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches, or other pains that can’t be easily explained by what you’re doing physically.

Do you feel stressed out or overwhelmed at work but don’t want to admit it because you don’t want to seem weak or incapable? Your body will find a way to let you know that something is wrong—and if your mind hasn’t gotten the memo yet (because it’s busy with other things), then your body won’t stop reminding you until you acknowledge what’s happening and decide how best to handle it.

What happens to the charkas when we are emotionally balanced?

The chakras are energy centers that govern the flow of life-force energy through the body. When they’re in balance, we feel more connected to our true selves and the world around us. Emotional balance helps us align with our highest intentions and live more authentically.

When our charkas are working correctly, we feel balanced and energized. But when one of them is out of whack, it can throw a wrench into the whole system, leading to physical or emotional issues.

The most common way an imbalance occurs is when you’re experiencing emotional distress—when you’re feeling overwhelmed by your emotions or haven’t been able to process them properly. When this happens, it’s like the air has been sucked out of your lungs; it feels like there’s no oxygen left in your body. This lack of oxygen can cause many problems—from physical ailments like headaches and muscle aches to mood disorders like depression and anxiety.

When you’re experiencing emotional distress, it can be hard to get back on track. This is why learning to manage your emotions is essential to avoid these problems down the road!

When emotionally balanced, we can make decisions that come from wisdom and intuition rather than fear or insecurity. We can also focus on what’s most important in life instead of worrying about what other people think or trying to please everyone else.

When you’re emotionally balanced, your charkas function at their full potential—and so do you! I offer a chakra balancing and clearing service here.
